June of 2007 marked Jim's return to performing after three decades in business and raising a family. Since then he has performed throughout Chicago as a non equity actor. Examples of recent work include Big Daddy in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and Jack Jamison in Third, and Mother in the world premier of Mother Bear by Jayme McGhan.
Originally from Washington DC, Jim received his start on stage at the Trapier Theater on the campus of the National Cathedral. From the spring of 1972 until August of 1976 Jim was performing continuously in plays and musicals which included the world premier of John Updike's Buchanan Dying. He performed roles like Biff in Death of a Salesman and Thomas Jefferson in 1776.
Jim lives in Chicago and is an executive in a marketing company as well as the founder and president of a not for profit which promotes infrastructure investment for both the enviromental and economic benefit to society.
